MELTABLE POLYTETRAFLUOROETHYLENE DISPERSION
FR503 is an aqueous dispersion of copolymer of TFE and PPVE, stabilized with non-ionic surfactant. It is not only possesses almost all the excellent properties of PTFE as extreme chemical inertness, excellent thermal stability, extraordinary electrical insulation and low frictional coefficient, but also is a thermoplastic which can be easily fabricated. At the temperature above melting point, the melt has lower surface tension, higher fluidity and penetrating quality than those of PTFE. The coating has smooth surface, no pinhole. With the long term utilizing temperature range of ±250°C and higher mechanical strength than those of PTFE, it can be widely used as non-sticky, anticorrosive or insulation coating in the way of impregnating, spraying, casting and spinning etc. |

Application
The product is suitable for ram extrusion of pipes, rods and other PTFE products.
Package and Storage
- It is packed in plastic drum, 10kg/drum.
- It should be stored in clean place and tightly sealed to prevent from electrostatic adsorption to impurities.
- Proposed storing temperature range is 5°C - 25°C.
- Stirring the stored product once a week to avoid any possible precipitation.
- Keeping away from coldness and strong impact.
- Operating below 400°C to avoid toxic gases released.
